Quiver0f10
I tried Google, but keep finding different answers. I'm cleaning my filing cabinets tomorrow.
Tess in the Burbs
I wonder about this.....we have sold 3 homes and I have paperwork for all of them, lol. The last was recent but the house from 1999?? Surely I can let it go???
Unicorn.
Ummm, forever? My friend recently had an issue with a house she owned for years (I've known her for 10, and she had it when I met her, so at least 10 yrs). I won't go into all the details, but you might want to at the very least hang on to proof of sale papers.
Susan C.
I can't tell you how many times I've looked back at them.... but it escapes me why at the moment. Each sale is just a fat, large envelope, so I keep them.
NavyMommy
I've always heard that's the one thing you keep forever. We have only bought 2 homes and sold 1 but I have all the paperwork together in a box.
