DragonFaerie
I love the Irish Country books by Patrick Taylor. I also love Maeve Binchy books that are set in Ireland. Does anyone have any other recommendations for similar fiction books that are set in Ireland and heavy on Irish culture/lifestyles?
speedmom4
I have not ready any Patrick Taylor but I have read Maeve Binchy and like her. One of my favorite authors is Tana French and she is Irish. Her books are set in Ireland but they are crime/mysteries. They are great! My absolute favorite one was The Likeness and Into the Woods. Her latest book, Broken Harbor, was not my favorite. http://www.amazon.com/The-Likeness-Novel-Tana-French/dp/0143115626/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1361223073&sr=8-7&keywords=tana+french HTH, Elise in NC

Forget-Me-Not
I love Maeve Binchy. I'm currently reading her last novel--so sad that she passed away! I read her books over and over again. You might try Maggie Harryman. I read one of hers a few months ago and it felt a lot like a Binchy novel, though she is a little more descriptive of sex scenes (if that is something that concerns you).
