Has anyone used this? If so what were your exeriences? Is it very teacher intensive or moderate? Did you feel it was meaty enough or did you find yourself supplementing? Any info would be helpful...as I am having a hard time finding any reviews.

I use the OLD hardback Doubleday series from the early 1990s. I like it better than the new revised series.

The revised series isn't finished and won't be. The support materials end in grade 5 and the books end in grade 6. There is only a scope and sequence for grades 7 and 8. In contrast the old series only has 6 books for grades 1-6, but that series was more concise and finished.

I like the art and music in the revised series, but not the social studies and science.

Are talking about the "what your....should know" series? If so I am speaking of the History curriculum that Hirsch Published through Pearson. It has 12 units in the 4th grade level. They show the table of contents on their website, but no samples for level 4.

I was only able to fine samples of 5 on Christian books. So any information is apreciated.
