Ds finished Logic Liftoff but was still having a little trouble with the more advanced puzzles toward the end. I want him to get some more practice with them before we move on to the third book. Cosmos Posted February 9, 2013 Share Posted February 9, 2013 What kind of puzzles is your ds having trouble with? I'm pretty sure we did Logic Liftoff, but I can't remember which kind of puzzles they had at the end. My advice would probably be just to move on to the next book -- Orbiting with Logic, I believe. It will probably start off with a different kind of problem, and by the time you come back around to the type that's giving him trouble, he may have matured enough that it's not hard anymore. We started out with Connections - Intermediate but it was a little too tough for my DS, so I'm saving it for next year and doing Connections - Beginning for now. It's all grid puzzles. My son is also having a bit of trouble with the deduction puzzles near the end of Logic Countdown so I have a whole book of Perplexors for him to practice when he's done.
