Weird feeling in upper lip after tooth extraction?

I had to have a tooth pulled Friday morning (#12 if it matters) and my upper lip in the corner on that side keeps feeling like I have a hair there or something, just a thin numb line. The dentist did say it was a difficult extraction and the root was S shaped. (From my POV it was the easiest I've ever had!, I took a chill pill for the first time before the appt lol) Please tell me this will go away? I keep feeling like that entire area where they took out the tooth is swollen but it looks normal. I have a check up tomorrow morning since I'm prone to dry sockets (I get them EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.:( ) and the area is starting to ache so I have a feeling I'm getting another even though I do everything they suggest from no sucking/straws/drinking/ carbonated stuff/ warm/hot foods and he even put in a stitch to try holding in the clot.

Not sure, but I can sympathize. I had my upper left wisdom tooth pulled on Tuesday (it was erupted through the gums) and it still feels weird and slightly hurts at times. This is the first tooth I've ever had extracted so I didn't know what to expect. I've been absolutely paranoid of dry socket. I still haven't drank through a straw or spit (toothpaste) and it's been 5 days. I wonder if I'm in the clear yet.
