beachnut
Help! My mom's birthday is this weekend, and I thought it was her 74th. Turns out it's her 75th birthday! Who can give me some great ideas to make her day extra special -- keeping in mind I only have 1 week to pull it together? No time to pull together a lifetime collection of photos or videos, no time to order a really special, customized gift.
nono
Killer brunch with you and a few of her girlfriends followed by a show? Or a spa visit?
beachnut
Ooh, I think she'd like the brunch & show idea. Thanks for the inspiration! Too bad she doesn't like spa visits, cuz I'd love to join her for that one. :tongue_smilie: Anyone have any other ideas?
Shamzanne
Can you have all of the family members trace their hand on a piece of paper and write a note within or around the hand? They could then scan and email it to you if they don't live close. My friend made a book of hands like this and her grandmother loves it. She can turn each page and place her hand over theirs while she prays for that person.

Rebel Yell
My friend rallied everyone she knew and got 80 people to send birthday cards for her mom's 80th birthday. If you make some calls to family, friends, & church could that happen?
