fairfarmhand Posted December 5, 2012 Share Posted December 5, 2012 I just cut my dd's hair for the first time and it looks GOOD! It is a longish bob, a bit shorter than shoulder length. We've been broke for awhile, and had no money for haircuts. Her hair is very thick and unmanageable, so it looks best shorter. I was jerking out snarls this morning and finally snapped. I googled it, watched a few youtube videos and began snipping. My hands were trembling, but it looks so much neater. I ended up taking about 2 inches off, which is not as short as she prefers it, but I wanted to leave enough that if I flubbed it we could get it fixed without her looking like a boy.
