Why is my Le Creuset tea pot keep corroded again and what about electric

This is my second one. The first one lived about 4 years. This one is going on 2 or 3. The first one was so rusted and corroded nothing would save it. This one is starting to look nasty on the bottom. I store it dry, clean it often etc. I'm annoyed.

 

I was looking at this Breville one with variable temperature but that seems fussy. And it's expensive.

 

Do you have an issue with your teapot?

We have extremely hard water in this area. I have an electric kettle that I have to run white vinegar through every other week when the kettle is in constant use during the winter months. The same is true for our coffee maker. I buy white vinegar by the gallon.
