Candid
So, I forgot that Microsoft is no longer including any Outlook with Office Student/Home and my ds's laptop has no email. And to be honest I think it is highway robbery to charge me $100 for Outlook. (Maybe I'll change my mind on this, but for now I dislike this change on their part). Can you tell me of your free or low cost email client that you love? He has both a POP mail email and a Gmail which I'd like both to be in the program. I'd also love to have integration with Google calendar like Outlook has. Also, tell me about ads in this program? Will they be appended to his outgoing emails or in the program itself. mamajag
When I was a PC user I used Mozilla Thunderbird. If I remember correctly it handled POP and Gmail just fine. I had Outlook; it was just too bloated to use regularly. It's free without ads, I believe. Here's the link. There is an addon available for Google Calendar. :) Edited October 29, 2012 by mamajag
melbotoast
I believe you can use Gmail to access the pop account as well.
Cinder
I use Mozilla Thunderbird. It works like Outlook Express. I don't know about the calendar, though; it's not something I use (or have used).
