Melinda S in TX
Dh wants to start drinking a coffee substitute. He likes really strong coffee. The three we can get locally are Pero, Cafix, and Kaffree Roma. Has anyone tried these? Which one is the strongest flavored? Any other recommendations? laundrycrisis
I have only tried Pero. I really like it made strong, with soymilk added to make a latte. Sometimes I add hazelnut syrup. It's good. It's good as an iced latte too, but you need to mix it with hot water first.
Miselainia
I have only tried Pero, but I make it strong and really look forward to it everyday.
BibleBeltCatholicMom
I've only tried Cafix. I like it with a square of Green and Blacks 70% chocolate. Otherwise, not so much. It doesn't taste like coffee or satisfy in any way like coffee. It's not coffee. It isn't good in coffee drinks, either, imho.
nmoira
I've tried those all and more. Pero is the only one I can stand, strong with cream and a bit of sugar.
