So far I've been using it to review concepts we've gone over that week, but dd is completely bored. She LOVES c-rods, but when I try to pair them with a lab sheet, she just rolls her eyes and grudgingly flies through them. Should I use it to introduce the next week's concepts instead? blondeviolin Posted September 19, 2012 Share Posted September 19, 2012 I'd try using the C rods and miquon to introduce new topics or ideas. If she's mastered something with MM, then she may not need to have the manipulative or even "figure it out" with the C rods. If you want to line it up, check what's coming up next in her curric for math lab day. We don't line it up.
