Spanish activities ideas

My 14 yo ds is finishing up level 1 of The Learnables Spanish. I like the simplicity of the curriculum, but I'd like to add some extra activities. My thoughts thus far:

 

Writing a short script for he and his sister to act out-my dd would love to help with this

A Spanish cooking lesson

 

What else? I'm stuck

Watching movies or TV in Spanish.

Spanish word games - Scrabble, Hang Man, charades, whatever

Have him teach you or other children what he has learned.

Emailing someone who knows Spanish in Spanish.

Changing his Facebook or cell phone to Spanish (if he has those).

Great ideas! We know plenty of Spanish speaking friends. Love the game ideas as well. If you would have a child in the first year of Spanish, would you use closed captioning on movies to help understand?

I don't even know! I plan on using movies we have seen a zillion times and leaving subs off, or maybe even turning on the Spanish subs. If it's a movie we don't already know well, then definitely English subs. :)
