staceyobu
We will finish 200 level at semester. I like CLE and DD has done great with it. However, the books have started teaching cursive handwriting. I want to wait until third grade to do cursive, so we are not doing the handwriting portion. We already supplement the writing with WWE. I'm wondering if it is worth ordering the 300 level if we are not going to do the writing or handwriting portion? If we switch, is there something similar in format to CLE for grammar? I enjoy having one workbook type subject she can do on her own. And, what would we do for spelling? DD seems to be a natural speller, so I think something like AAS might be overkill. lorisuewho
Climbing to Good English could cover you, as well as Rod&Staff for spelling. Both are workbook-style if that is what your DD prefers.
