Jayne J Posted July 14, 2008 Share Posted July 14, 2008 I'm pulling together a world cultures study for my Ker this fall, and have most everything ready. What I am missing is a great list of read aloud fiction books. I'm looking at a 1-2 grade level. I plan on a very loose continent based study, so anything dealing with, say, Africa--any country, unique animal, unique culture etc. I'll probaby break up Asia a bit, but want to keep things general. Rosie_0801 Posted July 14, 2008 Share Posted July 14, 2008 No specific suggestions, but don't forget art books. The Swahili, for example, traditionally have fabulous wood carvings on their houses.
