NittanyJen
Coolest math toy EVER. Did I mention that this was super cool?? For those who dislike links, this one goes to my husband's Google Plus link to a YouTube video of "Hands On Math" at Brown University. It's a touch and pen-responsive page-based system that recognizes hand gestures and pen input to record and interpret and solve math equations, records how things are solved as you manipulate algebraic equations, allows you to edit pages of information by clipping in items from web pages, and more. Hopefully that is enough information to allow anyone who wishes to to Google it for themselves, too :). I cross-posted it here because I figured there are enough folks here who don't spend a lot of time on the K-8 boards, who are still involved in algebra in math and would love to see this! Have fun! (so cool!)

PeterPan
It looks like that was 2 years ago. Maybe it's available as an app now? I guess not, but wow!
