sparrow
I'm looking for for fountain pen recommendations. We're going to try them to correct some issues with pressing too hard when writing. I'm guilty of the same problem, so I'll also be trying to use one.
Caitilin
I bought the Pelikano Junior pens for ds10 and dd8 to use this year. They are nice because they give the fingers definite places to sit. We are happy with them so far. I got them from jetpens.com. :001_smile:
sparrow
Thanks for the recommendation. I'll check into them!
In the Rain
I'm not sure if anyone is selling them anymore, but we bought some Petit Pilot Pens from JetPens a few years ago. They have held up great, and my kids love the variety of colors. We have ordered through JetPens many times, and they have always been reliable. Caitilin
I was going to buy these, but they all seemed to be sold out when I looked for them this summer. :glare: In the end, though, the Pelikano seem sturdier, and te ink is easy to get--in lots of colors!:001_smile:

I looked back and saw that I ordered our petit pilots in Feb 2010. They were under $3 each and they all still work! :D That is impressive. Obviously we've been through many ink refills in that time. We also have some Preppys left. I've never been as impressed with those though. Sometimes they work. Sometimes they don't. When we run out of Pilot refills, I'l look into the Pelikanos. I didn't realize they came in colored inks too. That is very important to my girls. We have 5 or 6 colors of ink. It makes cursive much more entertaining. sparrow
Looks like everyone is getting a Pelikano Junior! I can't get over some of the beautiful pens on Jet Pens. I've always had certain kinds of pen that I like to use, but I never got any fancy ones. This makes me want to get a really nice pen and the J. Herbin 340th Anniversary Fountain Ink!
