Bensmom Posted August 11, 2012 Author Share Posted August 11, 2012 Thank-you for the information! We were hoping to adopt a 5 year old from dhs, but that didn't work. Then just when we were feeling frustrated and depressed, we got a call to see if we were interested in an infant private adoption. Talked to an adoption attorney here in OK and we need someone in Austin. Didn't want to just randomly pick someone out of the phone book. Thanks for the suggestions. Hopefully Monday we will be able to make some contacts and move forward. We are trying to guard our hearts as we know (from past experience) that it isn't a sure thing until it is done....but we can't help but be excited and hopeful.
