Syllieann
I want to buy a few instruments to go with our Making Music Praying Twice that's otw. I have a 3.5 yo, an 18 month old, and I plan to invite young 4yo twins to join us. MMPT recommends several in each category and recommendations but I'd love to know which get the most mileage at your house so I can buy higher end versions of best loved stuff. alpidarkomama
My favorites: triangle, finger cymbals, rhythm sticks, gathering drum (a short wide drum that all the kids can sit around) or individual hand drums, wood block, tambourine, bell sticks, ankle bells, various rattles, güiros... it's really endless. West Music has some great selections.
alpidarkomama
And don't forget scarves for dancing! :) And puppets with mouths that open and close for singing. And one of those fake microphones that reverberates is great for getting kids to do solo singing stuff in front of the other kids. :)
Syllieann
Thank you, the microphone never even occurred to me. I can see the twins really loving that!
