abbeyej Posted July 14, 2012 Share Posted July 14, 2012 Is there a reason *not* to take the Math 1 test early in high school (the results might be helpful at this point for gaining admission to a program my son is interested in) if the student will be taking Math 2 at a later date? Two of mine will do both, and the high school dh and I attended (eons ago) encouraged all the honors students to take both. The "only" downside to doing both is that the math level I has a pretty stiff curve, so even mathy students tend to score better on the level 2.
