Noticed this history questionnaire

Recommended Posts

Dd is quite the history fan. Am putting together notes and thoughts from a process I'm putting in a binder; I'll explain all the way once it's done, but wanted to stop and share this as I found it rather interesting today.

This comes straight off from Wikipedia under the History section. I've never heard of these 6 scales of inquiry before. Has anyone else?

I haven't seen them listed in a formal way like this, but yes, we used those points in a Bible class I attended that was to prove the reliability of the Bible using internal and external evidence. We went through the points in almost exactly the same order as this list, too. Very interesting to see it applied to other works in history. I'll have to remember that!
