Kathleen in VA
We are using Notgrass World History which requires reading The Cat of Bubastes by G. A. Henty. I found it online as well as many others: http://henty.ae6gn.com/listbooks.php?sort=title

Thank you, Barbara in NH I usually just google books I find in catalogs that look interesting - just in case - and often I am surprised to find them online free of charge. I'm glad I'm saving you money:). Also, check www.gutenberg.org for out-of-print titles.
Guest Geneece
A friend emailed me a link to this conversation this morning, and I just had to register to reply!! You'll be happy to know that the website link for the Henty books is work of an always-been-homeschooled graduate! As he was putting the website together several years ago, he read each book to edit for errors against the originals, and formatted them in a way that was easy to read. The finished result became one of his Senior projects. I just called him in here to read what y'all have written about his website and I think he was pleased to see it referred to in such high regard. I think he has a guestbook, if you'd like to sign it. He is also working on another project for Henty lovers. I would love to have several families who read Henty, and would like to write about his books, contribute to the site. Let me know if you'd like more information.
