SonshineLearner
Anyone going? It's in Portland :) http://www.ohen.org/convention This is an inclusive Home Education Conference. There are workshops that are really interesting, and children have their own spots to learn. The Conference is $20 if you early register and that includes one child. Extra pre-registered kids are only $5. :) Edited May 29, 2012 by NayfiesMama (Explanation :))

Dolphin
I was just looking at that. I am going to ask dh. Have you been before? I thought it might have good ideas about things to do around here. I saw the Evergreen Aviation Museum is going to be there.
SonshineLearner
I haven't been... I talked to them and I think my son will enjoy the "classes" for his age. It's seriously cheap. For $25 if I hate it, I'll take off and go to OMSI :) BUT, they have some really great topics.... I'm looking for lunch dates :) There are some people over here that I think may go... (and some of them I haven't met yet) I'm sure there's someplace that would work for lunch. Either take or buy ;) I think I can get something I like more than just a sandwich. (But I don't know what's quick around there and didn't see how long we have ) I'm gonna hopefully do the Math session for #5 with Nathan :) YAY :)
EJCMom
I hadn't heard about it, but I'm just in Vancouver. I may check it out. Thanks for the heads up!
bluemongoose
I have been before, but I am not planning on going this year. It was small, but good when I went last time.
