missmoe
My son a bone tumor on his leg. We went to our family doctor, and she is telling us it isn't anything to worry about. We go to see an orthropedic doctor later today. The things I've looked up online are not good! (which is why I shouldn't research things like that!) I have read they are common in teenage boys who are growing quickly. Anyone else have experience with this?
Mama_Rana
My husband had this as a teen. It was benign. It has a name, but I can't remember off the top my head. :grouphug:

kewb
In most instances they are benign, however, a second opinion is also wise.
missmoe
Thanks for all your replies. Turns out it is benign--it will need to be removed, but we are going to wait until he is older to have it removed.
