My son will be doing 10th grade next year with many of the same subjects.

It looks like a good, solid, complete plan.

My only concern would be the Apologia. I'm not familiar with the curriculum, but I have heard there are a few colleges that give a hard time to students who use Christian curricula for science.

As I said, though, I don't have any experience with it. So, I might be worrying you for nothing.

I'd want to see some literature and composition. Is the history a full year course? I'd tend toward one SS credit (either history or AP Govt) and add in Literature. Then I'd look for supplementing with an elective. Maybe half a credit public speaking, a fine arts class, etc.

Normally, I would agree, but Kolbe history is basically a literature and composition class. The books are: Livy, Plutarch, Tacitus and Augustine and the program requires a paper per week. With an interest in law and government, I would keep the Kolbe history in place of a lit class. And perhaps provide a book list to demonstrate the literature component of the class.
