TraceyS/FL
I'll let you know next week  I struggled with this, and asked Brock and didn't get a lot of help. I finally bit the bullet and just ordered it, with the grades my kids are in - i was going to get WAYYYY more use out of the Brock since the younger ones have more years to use it you know? Let's not discuss the "publishers backorder" that i've been under for a month.... i have to order the 40x from Brock next week, but i pieced together the rest at RR. ANYWAY, we are doing Homesat that uses the 2nd ed, and the Activity Guide TE says this on the scope - so i'm pretty sure it will be fine (i ordered before i got my BJU order). Gee, it's dark in here - can i read the red print to type it? LOL! The typical school microscope is equipped with 4x, 10x, and 40x objectives and a 10x eyepiece (resulting in a magnification of 40x, 100x, 400x).... snip..... Some microscopes have a 100x objective (1000x total magnification) or an oil immersion lens. The activities in this book do not require this lens or magnification. Chris in CA
Wonderful! We already own the Brock. Actually I bought it years ago, and I was hoping that it would serve us until hs.
