Shahrazad
It sounds to me like another spelling of 'Zarrin' which I believe is a farsi/persian girl's name if I remember correctly? It means 'golden'. I've known of a few women by that name before but its not that common to see. I think there was a turkish name too like that but used for boys so I am not sure which you are looking for. When I googled Zeren I found that it is a turkish unisex name that means 'smart and capable' and also a Russian name taken from the Mongolian word for gazelle.//
Lightly Salted
I have a friend from Mongolia named Tseren, but I'm not sure how to describe the pronunciation. The r is a flipped r, with almost a slight d sound.
UmMusa
Is it pronounced like serene? My brother and hs wife are thinking to name their baby boy Zeren. I was wondering what the down low is on the name!
JenC3
I know someone whose son is named Zarin. Some of the funniest stories I've heard are about this boy. Great name:)
Shahrazad
The persian 'zarrin' I believe is pronounced like with the z like the s in vision (kind of in between s and z), sounds like sareen (which is close to serene). Not sure if the others are similarly pronounced.
