arcara
Hi, I'm looking for piano recommendations for my daughter. She is 11.5yo. She knows how to read music fairly well and knows where all the notes are on a keyboard. We just haven't been consistent with piano programs for her to progress with playing the piano. She is a good independent learner. Can you recommend something for her? Whenever I read other recs on the forum here, it's usually for a 6-7yo. Thanks so much!! Diviya
Our piano teacher absolutely loves the Celebration Series of piano books. She feels it is a thorough, complete package. I dont know if your dd could do it on her own, but it may be worth a look. The repertoire alone is head and shoulders above most of the piano curricula I've seen. Hope that helps
Jaz
Faber and Faber from Piano Adventures has also books for 'older beginners'.You might take a look at that. HTH I'd recommend this too!
