HOD Beyond -- emerging readers question

If you have Beyond, can you tell me what is listed for supplemental emerging readers? I'm trying to take inventory of what I have and what I will need to get. We have SOOOOOO many emerging reader books. I'm just wondering what is listed because I am such a schedule follower. I'll be buying the Beyond guide at some point, hoping to find it used at the CHAP conference next month.

Kristen,

You can go on the HOD website and they are listed. I personally would just use what I had because the readers are separate from the rest of the program. There are only three questions each day that you ask your child from what he or she read, and those are included in the back of the manual. Having said that, I did use all of the recommended readers and added several of my own in. The Beginners Bible and the CLP Nature Reader are used for good chunks of time.

Hope that helps!

Stephanie

Thanks--I just thought there was a list that was not listed on the website? A supplemental or alternative list? I'm also wondering about how to judge the increasing level of difficulty and what she will be ready for...so a ready-made list would be helpful. Although I'm sure I could figure it out once we start.
