A home for their hearts
We're new to MUS and I can't figure out which level teaching telling time. Thanks!
kandty
If I remember correctly, it is in the first three books (Primer, Alpha, Beta). I think in one of those it is not a lesson, but in the back of the book. I can't remember if it is in Gamma, but it might.
armom
It is taught in the lessons in Beta, but is in the back of the book in Appendix as optional lessons in Alpha. We are have way through Beta and haven't done time yet in this book. I did go over the appendix lessons on time with my son.
sleeplessnights
They teach time in Primer up to the minute. I believe the time in Alpha in the appendix is there in case you didn't use Primer. And the time in Beta is more meant to be a review.

Closer to the end of Beta it's taught to the minute. Before that it's the hour, half hour, etc.
mhaddon
I think this is my one complaint with this program and not sure if we will stick with it in the long haul... I can't get past the fact I don't see time, measuring, etc. in the books :(
DawnL
Jeran is working on time in Beta. He has also learned how many inches in a foot and how many feet in a yard in Beta. They use both a ruler and one of the blocks to measure. I think it was the 2-block that is exactly an inch. Jeran liked that, but preferred measuring with the ruler.
