cathmom
My son who is finishing 2nd grade is on Ch. 10 of SOTW 1. I have twins who are currently K. We're trying to finish up this school year and will begin again in September, just before the twins turn 7. Here are the options as I see them: 1. Continue doing a chapter a week with older son; add in twins wherever he is in September (likely around ch 25). 2. Stop doing history; begin again in September with all 3 on Ch. 11. 3. Stop doing history; begin again at the beginning with all 3 in Sept. 4. Continue doing history with older son; begin at the beginning in Sept with twins so that he and the twins are on different chapters. Other? Thanks in advance; I'm just so undecided what to do here. SilverMoon
1. It's the most simple option, in my experience. You'll probably be surprised how much of the ancients the little ones have absorbed by just being around it. :)
BoZeeCo's Mom
I second SilverMoon. My 3 year old loves listening to all the books with her brother, and does all of the projects with him, too. Obviously I place fewer perameters on her, but I said in another thread that the other day I overheard her explaining what a timeline is to her father. I say just start making sure they're around to listen ;) good luck! I love SOTW.
