But just because *this* isn't the right opportunity to move home doesn't necessarily mean that another -- better -- opportunity won't come by some other time. But then didn't you say you could afford to buy a $200-300K house in CA for cash? Isn't that the same amount of money? I guess the difference is that you'd still have a mortgage in Switzerland.
