TOG, Geography and maps

I think it depends on what year you are using, what their background is, and what your geography goals are. Before we started TOG, we did a year of geography using living books, along with FIAR, and that was plenty for my dd. I would say if you want your dc to know current geography, Year 1 is not going to be enough. Or if you want, for example, that your children understand that Persia is modern-day Iran, TOG will not do this for you. Also, be aware that all of the Geography in TOG is related to what you are studying, you may not touch on parts of the world that are not historically significant.
