naturally
Can you start in 3rd grade with no prior grammar or should you start in 2nd? Also, looking at the sample books I see there are 6 units. Do you do them all at once (like all lessson 12s) or one after the other. Probably a silly question and I need more sleep. :001_smile:
NittanyJen
You will be fine starting grammar in third grade. They start over again with nouns and subjects, followed by verbs and predicates. The program breaks them up into painstaking detail. We only use grammar from R&S, so I can't help you with Q2!
SilverMoon
Yes, an average third grader would be absolutely fine starting in the grade 3 book. Those units are more like chapters. Just open the book to the first lesson and work through them all in order. :)
kbpaulie
I think you'd be fine starting in 3rd. There are about 100-120 lessons in each book. Just start in the beginning and work through about 1-2 lessons/day.
chepyl
There are 6 units with 25 lessons, 2 reviews, and a test. We are in level two. I skip some revoew and we dont do all the tests. Just work through the book in order. It is quick, easy, and painless. We have done up to four lessons a day at times.
boscopup
If I were to use R&S again, I'd definitely start in level 3. Just start at page 1, and continue through the book. It's very straight forward.
