Has anybody used a Neoprene Pressure Vest like this one?

Here is one I found. His OT recommended pressure vs. weighted because he said weighted often become more of a chore to wear than pressure. Anybody use this for a dc? How did it go?

 

 

Ds wore one during his OT session Friday and it was AMAZING! He even asked for one when we left :lol:

We own the above. We have it in ds's size, but dd likes to sometimes squeeze into it. I chose this one because it's long and covers the entire torso.

Pressure is preferred because one can get used to weighted and weighted is only supposed to be worn 20ish minutes at a time.

 

Ds must wear his vest (or chair straps) during seat work. I require handwriting, WWE, and FLL be done at the table, so all vested. Other work he's free to do anywhere and in any position.

 

I think it makes a huge difference in his focus and attention.

Have you tried Under Armor type compression shirts? Target sells a Champion brand version that is inexpensive. They are the only tops ds will wear.

 

 

 

I haven't. Does this provide enough pressure? I looked on Target.com and I don't see anything :confused:

 

 

ETA: Just found this. Is that what you mean? Ds is in a size 10 (M) shirt. I don't see any in his size :(
