heidip2p
Trying to decide to between Math Mammoth and the Key To series. We are going to start with fractions. Just wondering if one is better than the other? I like MM for the instant download. :) However, if the Key To are better I can wait for shipping. :)
wapiti
IMO, MM has better, more detailed and more conceptual instruction, though it has been quite some time since I have looked at Key to Fractions (I own both, though I've used much more of MM). Perhaps "drill" might be more descriptive of Key to Fractions.
txhomemom
I own both Key to books and Math Mammoth. I find there are a lot of problems on the pages in the Math Mammoth books that tends to be overwhelming to look at. I like the concepts that it teaches, but it just seems like there is too much of a busy look to the pages. I find Key to books easier to look at and they seem to get to the point faster, but in some of the books there is a little bit of endless drill. I feel that either one is a good choice, you just have to decide which one fits your style more. Both of them are so inexpensive you could easily get one book of each just to see the differences.
