misidawnrn
I am so glad to hear that some people understand my feelings on why I didn't automatically join the "richer kids" GS group. We have a meeting on Thursday and I plan on talking with the leader about the size of the group, being a co-leader and not just a parent volunteer and getting some sort of structure/manners, etc. If she is willing to work with me great, if not, I will find another troup. I don't want my DD to think that when you don't like something, you just quit so hopefully the leader is looking for help and that we can quide these girls will manners, respect, etc. If she thinks the situation is just fine the way it is, I guess that will be a lesson to myself and DD...you can't fix everything. Thanks for all of the great advice.

Thanks for sharing your view point. I am Christian and I also see the good that Planned Parenthood does and believe in the potenial good that Girl Scouts can have.
