Guest
I think we love FLL, but WWE not so much. If we continue with FLL only, is there still copywork and dictation, or is that all in WWE? We are going to use IEW for our writing, so if we did FLL & IEW, what would we not have from WWE? (FLL - First Language Lessons, WWE - Writing with Ease, IEW - Institute for Excellence in Writing.) boscopup
FLL doesn't have nearly as much copywork and dictation. You'd need to add your own. I would also add oral narration, as the main purpose of WWE is to get a child writing their narration (â€with ease†;) ).

Sew happily ever after
You aren't missing a thing! You can easily add copywork dictation and narration from history and science. Personally iew is much better! We use iew and fll and are very successful. Wwe adds too much stress and feels like getting teeth pulled. Although some use it quite successfully. PentecostalMom
If you use FLL and IEW, you will have grammar and writing covered. You do not need to add WWE.
ALB
I would agree that as long as you add in some narration and copy work/ dictation somewhere (for history, or whatever), you'd be fine without WWE. We used FLL without WWE last year, and I just came up with our own copywork. We use narration in history, science and literature, so I don't feel the need for a workbook for that!
