Gentlemommy
Elemental History? I love their American Adventures, we used that this year for first grade, and it was perfect for us. We loved all of the book selections, and for the PDF file, the price can't be beat!:001_smile: So, is there something else like that but for world history? adventumacademy
:bigear: I've settled on using SOTW next year (we are also doing Adventures in America this year and I think it is a great fit for us), but I would be interested in hearing if another option for world history like this exists. :lurk5:
Gentlemommy
Yeah, I have SOTW...and MOH lol. I just can't decide. I loved with the AA, there was a list of about ten (?) chapter books, and I could get them all at once from amazon, and it was about $50 for everything! If I could find ten chapter books (for me to read to her) that would take us through Ancients, I'd be so happy!
wy_kid_wrangler04
In case your interested here is a great schedule to do both SOTW 1 and MOH 1 at once without being overwhelmed!
aprilsblessings
bumping... I was wondering the same thing as the PP.... anyone else have some curriculum ideas for something like Elemental History Adventures in America but for other time periods?? I LOVE the layout and booklist!
aprilsblessings
oops! I just realized this was from 2012... What did you end up using? Did you find something similar?
Gentlemommy
We ended up with SOTW. I just bought all my supplemental books ahead of time, because I'm not good about keeping up with the library every week. ;) SOTW has been a great fit!
