LisaKinVA
I received a call tonight from our church's drama leader. A little girl who was supposed to play "Cinderella" can't take the part this weekend, so they were wondering if my little fearless blondie could. I said, "sure." Can she be at the church by 4? "No problem." My dh took her. About half-way through practice (dh had run a quick errand), he sends me the following text... "You didn't tell me our daughter was going to dance to CINDERELLA!" :001_huh: Then, I had that "lightbulb" moment, and realized she was playing the part of the little girl in the Stephen Curtis Chapman song, "Cinderella." I asked him if he was going to cry... he said, "just about." He's such a "Father of the Bride" kind of dad... She has to perform twice, Friday night and Saturday. There isn't going to be a dry eye in the place. Absolute torture...made even worse by having one of your baby girls acting it out.

MamaT
Oh, I bet he cries. My 14yo danced to Butterfly Kisses and dedicated it to her dad at a show last spring. There wasn't a dry eye in the house. Make sure to video his reaction. :001_smile:
QuirkyKapers
Oh yeah. There will be tears all around. I get tears and I am not even seeing it acted out.
