Quiver0f10
I have wanted one for ever and have a chance to buy one at a GREAT price. However, I have a Bosch mixer with blender and use the blender daily. I also have a food pricessor. Do I need the Vitamix? What can I do with a VM that I can't do with a good blender and food processor?

Ellie
No, you don't. With the Bosch and its accessories, you have everything you need. Unless you have $$ to throw away, and storage space for another appliance, lol.
hana
Depending on how great the price is, I think you want it. Today, I made bread in my Bosch, bur first I ground flax seeds in my VitaMix to add in. I could also grind wheat in the VitaMix if I wanted to, but I do have a separate grain mill. I love the little blender on the Bosch, but it doesn't have nearly the power of the VitaMix for blending frozen fruit for smoothies, for example. If I could only have one, it would be my Bosch because my bread is so much better with it. But, I'm very thankful for my Vitamix.
