sheryl
Do you own one? What brand do you recommend? What features are important? Thanks!
Perry
I have both Chi and Sedu flat irons. I much prefer the Sedu.
PrincessAriel
Bio Ionic I Smooth FreeStyle 1" Styling Iron I got mine on amazon after a recommendation from my hair stylist. I like it a lot as it straightens quickly without repeated run throughs. It doesn't pull on my hair as much or cause breakage and works quickly. They do have other more expensive models that are supposed to work even more quickly but I didn't want to spend that much. I actually got mine cheaper on amazon that my stylist got it at her beauty supply store.

tammyw
I like my Sedu - it's all I've used for years. But others swear by their Chi. DON'T buy a cheap one. It will destroy your hair and take a lot more effort to work (usually, and from what I hear). I always buy mine from Folica. I usually buy 1.5 inches so that I can put a little "curl" at the end by just twisting my wrist. ETA: i also like Folica's warranty. I think it's 2 years on Sedu. I've had my Sedu fail, but thankfully within the warranty period. All I had to do was send it back, they charged me less than $20 and shipped me a completely brand new flat iron! Negin
I LOVE my CHI and got it new from ebay more than 6 years ago. Mind you, I do not use it every day. Too much damage for daily basis.
