silliness7
How do your girls wear the neckerchief? Rolled all the way into a loose rope or with the triangle hanging down the back?
bluemongoose
Rolled, but with a triangle down the back ala boy scouts.
Melissa in St Louis
Triangle hanging down, but we could be wrong. :D
silliness7
The instructions in the book are very fuzzy. And despite endless searching online and on the AHG website I can't get a definitive answer. The pictures in the book seem to show one girl with a rope and another girl with a triangle (from the best I can tell with only their fronts showing.) :001_smile:
Mrs Mungo
Rolled, but with a triangle down the back ala boy scouts. This is the correct way. But, many girls in our troop just wear it as a triangle.
silliness7
This is the correct way. But, many girls in our troop just wear it as a triangle. Very good. How many rolls gives your the right sized triangle? The directions in the book say "Take beginning roll in both hands. Roll toward center until completed." So when is completed? There is no mention of a triangle down the back. Only mention of triangle at all is in the first direction to fold your neckerchief diagonally to form a triangle. But the thing already comes in a triangle shape. Hence the utter confusion. :001_smile:
