cjgrubbs
I've been thinking of purchasing these to use for American history. I would purchase from Nothing New Press bc I believe they have been slightly updated to avoid terminology that was acceptable then but not now. Has anyone used these to teach American History? What grade range would you suggest? Would this be considered a thorough spine?
Michele B
This year, I purchased the version from Memoria Press. I'm not sure how the updates differ. I am still using SOTW (3) as a spine because I have one grammar-stager. I sift through K12 Human Odyssey vol 2, From Sea to Shining Sea (Catholic textbook Project), Seton's American History for Young Catholic (8th grade), and the Guerber and use whichever book seems to cover whichever episode the best for dd who will be 11 in a couple of weeks. So, no, I have no experience using it as a core text. But I'd like to hear more about the experiences of others!:D
