highfamily
I am doing MCT's Town level with my 11-year-old son; I thought Caesar's English would be the most engaging part of the series, but I am getting some eye rolling/crossing with all the reading aloud. I get this mostly with the even-numbered vocabulary lessons; the Latin stem lessons seem to be quicker/more varied. What could I be doing differently? How exactly are you all splitting the vocab lessons over 2 weeks? Thanks!

cschnee
Same here, my daughter loved reading Caesar's English out loud. We had so much fun trying to remember who wrote what book and making up posters for some of the words.
Penelope
We are working on one lesson per week, but are only on lesson 4. We do 3 days per week. The last day is only the quiz. Ds likes vocab. but doesn't love it like I've seen others say their children do. Maybe two weeks per lesson would be better, but I waited to start, and we also do Latin. So CE is supposed to be more of an extra.
