cajunkaren
Hi there.....I am really in need of some advice. Can yall please tell me what should I do for my son's girlfriend. She has started homeschooling with us. My son graduated last year and my daughter is only in 6th grade. This young lady is extremely smart but comes from a rough home and had to pull from school because of health issues (juvenile diabetes) she has missed so much school. I really need an Algebra 2 that will help her and I. My son did Algebra but we didn't do Algebra 2. I pretty much had to reteach myself Algebra because I was out of school for a while and forgotten most of it. But now Algebra 2 wow. So as I said does anyone know of any thing that would help us in any way. Thanks so much..... Karen:)
angel marie
we do saxon math, but kinda hard to jump into. look at teaching textbooks. see if you like it. do you think she has had a good algebra I base to do alegbra II ? if she has missed alot of school, you may need to back step. just a thought though. tons of people like teaching textbooks and it is interactive. i think she will be able to do alot of it by herself. good luck :)
kiana
Whatever you use, make sure she takes the placement tests. It's better to do a quick run-through algebra to make sure she actually understands it than to try and learn algebra 1 and 2 at the same time. That being said and given your situation, I'd look at teaching textbooks.

Julie in MN
Similar to Teaching Textbooks, Math Relief has an Algebra 2 course that includes videos and all answers written out and will help with email questions. I've used Math Relief with two very different students, and it is excellent. Julie
