leeannpal
My students and I were studying Libya recently, so they knew about what was going on with the civil war. Tomorrow, I'm sure we will have a class discussion on the inevitability of his capture/killing. While I in no way rejoice over the loss of a human life, I'm certainly old enough to remember the Pan Am explosion over Scotland and other Gaddahfi escapades in the last 30 years. I certainly hope this will lead to more freedoms and a better standard of living for the people of Libya. Oops, I just realized that I misspelled his name. It only has one "d" in it. linguistmama
Wow! I remember my parents discussing him when I was a kid, he's been there forever!
Ginevra
Has that been verified now? I saw mention earlier that it was "thought" that he's dead.
Liz CA
Has that been verified now? I saw mention earlier that it was "thought" that he's dead. Have not had the news on today. Is this true?
simka2
It has been on the news all day here as "DEAD." Only when it first aired this morning was there some question. I think there have been some Photoshoped pictures of him dead floating around as well. So, those are not verified.
