CalicoKat
I'm thinking of doing this to the almond colored refrigerator in my kitchen. It's the refrigerator that used to be in my basement. The problem is that it's almond, the stove is black, and the microwave is white. Visually it's just yucky to look at. But they all function well and it's not in the budget to replace anything until it breaks. So my options are to either paint it it or smash it with a hammer. :D Paint is cheaper. Am I crazy to think about painting it with black chalkboard paint? I've seen this done online by other folks. But truly, what are the disadvantages. Some things look better online than in reality. Thoughts? BTDT experience & advice?

CalicoKat
Yup, that's the site that convinced me. Black it'd have to be. I'll go shopping this weekend. :D
