Denise in Florida
:001_smile::001_smile: sooooo much fun! My dd17 wanted to go out tonight so we decided to see a movie. The new Footloose exceeded my expectations.
Mommyfaithe
Would it be appropriate for my 13 yo dd?? Thanks, Faithe
Denise in Florida
Would it be appropriate for my 13 yo dd??Thanks, Faithe I'm not a good judge. I let my girls watch pretty much everything.:001_smile: I think it would be okay for a 13 yo, most of the movie is upbeat and dancey. Possible objections: There is some swearing (not much and it is pointed out as inappropriate), a fatal (non-graphic) car accident and one implied but non-graphic s%x scene (no nudity). It was a fun movie.
Kari C in SC
Okay, I just took my 13 year old dd to see it and we had a great time! It gets 2 thumbs up from me and my dd. Liked the girl in this better, preferred Kevin Bacon for the guy, liked that some of the adults were nicer than in the old one and absolutely loved the Country twang added in. All in all, glad I saw it.
mom2denj
Would it be appropriate for my 13 yo dd??Thanks, Faithe NO! I was embarrassed watching it with my 14 yr old! Then again, maybe I am just a fuddy duddy!! I did not like tthe movie. I think that they added unnecessary extreme dirty dancing, dirty talking, and cussing. If you enjoyed the movie, I am sorry. i am just throwing in my .02 I will add that the ending was pretty good.
