daffodil
My daughter is in the middle of RightStart B, and I'd like to get an idea which level of Singapore will be appropriate when she's finished.
HejKatt
Here's the placement tests link: http://www.singaporemath.com/Placement_Test_s/86.htm IIRC, SM 1B covered some topics like graphs which RS B didn't, so I'm planning to skim through 1B first with DS. sbgrace
RightStart B will take her further in some concepts (for example addition) but not far enough in others (ex. subtraction). We used 1B of MIF. One child sped through it all because the foundation from RS gave him enough to fly with the newly introduced material like subtraction with regrouping. His twin has spent much longer on those same new concepts.
nmoira
If she does well in in RightStart B, I'd pick up the 1B textbook and zip through the few new concepts then move to 2A. Concentrate most on subtraction.
