Lots of boys
We have just completed AAS1 - How many levels do most children complete - I see it goes up to level 6. Has anyone bought and used all 6 levels - will my child need spelling that long?
Woodland Mist Academy
It will actually have 7 levels soon. We are working on Level 6 and plan to do Level 7 as well. We don't do all the reviews or use the tiles anymore as my daughter no longer needs them. We only spend a few minutes on spelling a few days a week. We could probably drop spelling at this point (or even before now), but since it only takes a few minutes a day it's worth it for us to continue. We also keep track of frequently missed words to review. Edited October 5, 2011 by Hilltop Academy
MerryAtHope
My oldest is in Level 6, and has learned new and more difficult patterns and strategies every step of the way. For us it's been very worthwhile. By the end of Level 7, students are spelling at the high school level. You might like this article, Why Spelling Matters?
